Melissa Balcerak is a Colorado resident, educated at the University of North Texas, in a combined major of English and History. For 13 years, Melissa successfully owned and operated a 137-acre farm before moving into the world of court reporting, licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. HDGroup was fortunate enough to recruit Melissa away from the courtrooms of Texas in 2009, to build the utility research and coordination division of our company. As a Senior Project Manager, Mel is dedicated in her client services, each of who depend upon her expertise to directly impact their operating weeks. Having relocated to Colorado with HDGroup in 2011, Mel and her husband are avid fans of snowshoeing, hiking, tennis and golf.
Melanie Bagley is a native Texan, who earned a BS in Construction Technology at the University of Oklahoma. While at OU, Melanie also served as the President of Delta Gamma, the oldest and largest women’s fraternity in the US, known for its philanthropic endeavors towards the visually impaired and for US Veterans. Upon graduation, Melanie returned to the Dallas area, where she has been working alongside Wendy Hunter at HDGroup since 2005, and serves now as Vice President of Development. In this role, Melanie oversees individual client projects while generating strong relationships with both colleagues and consultants to encourage production and growth within HDGroup, as well as for our clients. Melanie has a background in residential construction, which is where she met her groom, Clay, a high-end residential builder. Melanie enjoys home remodeling, interior decorating and golfing, if time allows. Melanie and Clay have three precious children, and reside in Dallas.
Carolyn is a recent Colorado resident, having moved from Texas where she spent most of her life. She earned a BA in History from Texas A&M and is working toward a BS in Psychology from Colorado State. Before moving to Colorado, Carolyn was a high school teacher and cheer coach for 10 years. She also has experience in Commercial Real Estate and Tenant Coordination. Carolyn, her husband and three dogs are avid baseball fans, enjoy traveling, and exploring more of Colorado. They hope to visit and see a game at every baseball stadium in the US and Canada.
Kristi lives in Texas with her son where she enjoys reading, binging the latest Netflix series and outdoor activities like fishing, hiking and swimming. Kristi attended Southwest Baptist University where she studied theology and missions. She lived seven months in Cambodia working to provide clean water and agricultural development to the local villages. Upon joining HDGroup, Inc. in July 2012, Kristi manages our largest utility client with projects across the United States and Canada.
Sandra lives in Texas with her three daughters. Prior to joining HDGroup, Inc., Sandra worked as a veterinary technician where she cared for both large and small animals. Sandra also runs a successful pet sitting business in her local community. She enjoys gardening, hiking, boxing and taking her daughters to the zoo and aquariums. Sandra works as an Assistant Project Manager in HDGroup, Inc. Development Services Department.
Regina hails from the great state of Texas, but has been a resident of Colorado since 2013. She holds a BS from Texas A&M University and a MA from Fuller Seminary. Her education and service in the construction field as a non-commissioned officer in the United States Army Reserve has developed in her a strong appreciation for attention to detail, communication, efficiency, time-management, and a disciplined approach to project management.
Regina has been with HDGroup since 2018, having previously worked in faith-based leadership roles, as well as transportation and shipping logistical management. At HDGroup, Regina has worked in research, permitting, licensing, and currently leads the utility coordination division.
In her free time, Regina enjoys traveling with her family, learning about cultures and experiences outside of her own, and relaxing on the deck with a drink and a little Denver sunshine.
